Counselling Personalised to You
My name is Pete Tobias and I am a counsellor in Kentish Town and online who takes an integrative client-focused approach with a strong emphasis on giving you the safe, confidential space you need to freely speak about the problems you are facing.
I provide both short and long-term counselling for people with a wide variety of issues, such as anxiety, relationship problems, addiction, and PTSD. Seeking out counselling and getting the help you need can be extremely challenging. Taking that step to see someone about your problems is nerve-wracking, but it is also the first and most important step towards moving to a better place. I will be your compassionate, experienced, non-judgemental guide as you work through your problems in your own way and at your own pace.

I trained in Hypnotherapy in 2007, leading me down a path of personal and professional development which included advanced training in the UK and USA. The pursuit of therapeutic change led to a counselling-specific training in 2014. This entailed several years of my own personal counselling, culminating in a Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
I have worked in both private practise and for a variety of voluntary organisations including Anxiety UK and Hospice settings. My further training has included trauma-specific modalities such as EMDR and IFS and I am committed to continuous personal and professional development.
My approach is authentic, compassionate, and professional. I understand the commitment that personal counselling calls for and consider the therapeutic relationship to be incredibly valuable and a vital component to change and growth.
As a counsellor in Kentish Town and online, I offer you a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings in the company of an experienced professional. To learn more, don’t hesitate to get in touch via my booking form.
